Connectivity and communications specialist, Sona Business, has confirmed that a new NEC IP phone auto provisioning service from Yeastar is now available on the Sona UC Cloud platform \u2013 giving a new lease of life to tens of thousands of desktop devices.<\/p>\n

NEC announced earlier in 2024 that it will be pulling out of the on-premise Unified Communications market outside of Japan, over the next few years.<\/p>\n

Sona\u2019s white-label UC Cloud platform, powered by Yeastar, offers an auto provisioning feature to support NEC IP and SIP phones<\/p>\n

Sona is delighted to offer NEC resellers the opportunity to migrate their customers to the cloud and retain their NEC IP and SIP handset estate, protecting a sizeable investment and maintaining a defined feature set.<\/p>\n

Massive opportunity
\n<\/strong>We estimate there are literally tens of thousands of devices in the market which can now be easily configured in bulk with just a few clicks, for fast and convenient deployment.<\/p>\n

This is a massive and in many ways unique chance for resellers which we expect will create lots of demand. It opens up a tremendous opportunity for businesses migrating to a new platform, who want to retain their existing NEC IP and SIP phones as part of a smooth and seamless transition.<\/p>\n
